Aspen Highlands Ski Resort Lodging

Aspen Highlands Ski Resort Lodging

If you’re looking for a ski resort that’s local, wild and welcoming, Aspen Highlands may be the perfect choice. This unassuming mountain has a wide variety of terrain that’s great for both novice and advanced skiers.

It’s also home to the mid-mountain Merry Go Round restaurant and the Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro, which serves fondue and raclette and features views of the Maroon Bells.

Hotel Jerome

Located in downtown Aspen, Hotel Jerome is one of the most iconic redbrick hotels in town. The historic property is a short walk from the ski lifts of Aspen Mountain and is known for its exceptional hospitality and unparalleled luxury.

Hotel Jerome features 93 well-appointed guest rooms and suites with unique artwork, marble vanities, Hermes bath and body products, oversized bathtubs and separate showers. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Aspen and Red Mountain.

The hotel also has a spa that offers a range of treatments, including massages, facials, collagen and stone massage, couples massage, body scrubs, and mud wraps. Additionally, the hotel’s outdoor hot tub and pool area has undergone a major renovation.

Ritz Carlton Residence Club

Enjoy all the luxuries of an Aspen ski resort vacation with true ski-in/ski-out access to the Highland Bowl at the Ritz Carlton Residence Club. These two and three-bedroom luxury residences feature deep, plush king beds and complete modern entertainment centers.

You’ll feel at home in these rooms, with a stone fireplace and open, spacious living quarters crafted for the mountains. Each unit offers a kitchen, flat-screen TVs and a relaxing balcony with views of the majestic mountain landscape.

This Aspen hotel offers an indoor pool, spa and fitness center, and on-site dining. Guests can also catch a ride to the city center on the free shuttle service.

Throughout your stay, you’ll receive renowned Ritz-Carlton service, from the hotel’s ski valet to its dedicated Concierge who can arrange tickets to local events and shows or make reservations at sought-after restaurants. In addition, you’ll have full access to all onsite amenities including two slope-side outdoor pools and whirlpool spas, Willow Creek Bistro, Caffe Siena, Ritz Kids program, on-site business center and twice daily housekeeping.

Limelight Snowmass

Limelight Snowmass is part of the world-famous Limelight Hotels – a family-centric brand known for its laid-back luxury, live music programming and community-centric spirit. Like its sister properties in Aspen and Ketchum, Limelight Snowmass brings a cosmopolitan-meets-ski-town vibe to the village and ski in/ski out access to the slopes.

Modern guest rooms and suites boast elegant furnishings, solid wood accents, oversized windows and resort or mountain views. Two outdoor pool spas with spa-side cabanas offer a relaxing place to unwind after a day on the slopes.

Guests of the Limelight get access to an array of exclusive side trips and experiences. For example, First Tracks gives you the chance to experience Aspen Mountain’s skiing area before it opens to the general public – with just you and a few others.

Or try Inside Tracks – a complimentary on-mountain adventure offered in partnership with Aspen Snowmass’ Ski & Snowboard Schools. You’ll have access to tips from experts and can expect an unforgettable day of skiing/riding with a group of fellow Limelight guests.

Aspen Mountain Lodge

Slightly inset from town, Aspen Highlands is the most local-feeling resort in the Aspen/Snowmass complex. Its terrain is a bit smaller than the others, but it offers some of the best trails in Colorado.

Approximately a quarter of the mountain consists of blue runs that are suitable for intermediate to expert skiers. These range from groomed and easy-to-ski blacks to ungroomed and somewhat difficult mogul runs.

These are not all marked on the trail map, so it is important to know exactly where your lifts take you and which runs you want to hit. It’s worth a couple of days to get familiar with this terrain.

The Ritz-Carlton Club is the only true hotel in the Highlands basin, and it’s a great choice for skiers looking for a little luxury and a few perks. It has 24-hour concierge, ski valets, gourmet restaurants on-site, heated outdoor pools and a spa. It’s also a good choice for families, as it offers a kids program and a games room.
