Aspen Mountain Lodge

A popular ski lodge with a central location, Aspen Mountain Lodge is a budget-friendly choice for solo travelers, couples, and small families who want to stay within walking distance of downtown Aspen. It is also a convenient place to enjoy a variety of activities, including skiing lessons, snow tubing, and gondola rides.

It offers ski storage, free breakfast, and an outdoor pool. Additionally, it features a concierge service and complimentary wireless Internet access.

Rooms include refrigerators and flat-screen TVs, plus ski storage and private bathrooms with hair dryers. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby.

The hotel is a short walk from Wheeler Opera House and Pitkin County Courthouse. It is also close to Maroon Creek Bridge and Ski Lift No. 1.

This hotel’s top-of-the-line amenities include a world-class Remede Spa, a spa tub, and five dining options. You can even book a night of pampering at the St. Regis’s chef-inspired Chef’s Club by FOOD & WINE, which features contemporary American cuisine and a champagne sabering ritual.

There are a variety of one, two and three-bedroom condos available, each featuring oceanfront terraces. Those who want to enjoy the convenience of having their own kitchen can rent one of the condos with fully equipped kitchens.

Tyrolean Lodge

The Tyrolean Lodge is a classic small Aspen lodge that’s full of ski history. It’s family owned and centrally located on Aspen’s Main Street within easy walking distance of a brew pub, downtown shops, restaurants, bars, Aspen Mountain, hiking, cycling and the Music Festival.

The 16 hotel rooms are clean, stylish and spacious with new fully equipped kitchenettes. They’re non-smoking and offer two queen beds and one twin bed.

Rooms have flat screen TVs and free WiFi. There’s also a dining area and coffeemaker.

This family-owned Aspen lodge is a short walk from downtown shops and restaurants and sits on a city bus route that provides transportation to all of the Aspen ski areas. It’s also a smoke-free property and offers free parking.

The Tyrolean’s owner Pierre Wille is a ski mountaineer who loves the mountains, and it shows in the decor of the lodge. There are many photographs he’s taken of the Elk Mountains that can be seen from the hallways and rooms.

Limelight Hotel

Limelight Hotel is a modern 126-room resort in the heart of Aspen. It offers tons of inclusive perks, including transportation to and from Aspen airport and all area lifts, Wi-Fi, continental breakfast, gym, adventure concierge and early mountain access with professional guides in winter.

Rooms at Limelight are spacious and contemporary, with flat-screen TVs, iPod docks and Keurig coffeemakers. They also include Body Eclipse Spa Line bath products and robes.

Standard rooms start at 315 square feet, while suites go up to 580 square feet. They all have views of Independence Pass or Red Mountain and feature subdued contemporary decor.

Located across the street from Wagner Park and within walking distance of Aspen Mountain, Limelight offers an onsite bar and restaurant and is pet-friendly. It also features a ski valet service and free shuttles to and from the Aspen airport and town.
