Vail Resorts purchased Crested Butte in September 2018. Now, the resort is attempting to burnish its image by focusing on its expert-skiing credentials, restoring aging chairlifts and improving safety.
The Inn at Crested Butte
Built in 1919 as a miner’s hotel, The Inn at Crested Butte offers old-world charm and elegance blended with today’s modern amenities. This cozy inn is located two blocks from Elk Avenue and a short walk to the mountain shuttle stop.
Its 9 non-smoking rooms offer a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making equipment and a private bathroom. Some of the rooms also feature a seating area and a kitchen.
Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast at the hotel and use the free WiFi throughout the property. Located just a 10-minute drive from Lupine Trail 1 Park and a 10-minute drive from Baxter Gulch, The Inn at Crested Butte is the perfect place to start your vacation in the Rocky Mountains.
