Ski Rentals and Lodging at Buttermilk Ski Resort

Buttermilk Ski Resort Lodging

If you are looking for a place to ski during the winter months, Buttermilk Ski Resort is an ideal option. This resort offers a range of facilities, including a terrain park, as well as a variety of lodging options. While it can be a little challenging to find a place to stay during the holidays, you can rest assured that you’ll find an excellent selection of ski rentals at this resort.

Location

Buttermilk is the perfect mountain for beginners and families. Its terrain is wide open and easy to navigate. It also has two terrain parks to hone your skills.

In addition to its family-friendly atmosphere, Buttermilk is known for its high-speed lifts and quality snow. This ski resort is located just outside of Aspen, Colorado. Guests can choose from a variety of accommodations, including studios with kitchenettes and suites.

One of the best things about Buttermilk is its proximity to other Aspen mountains. This means that you can spend an entire day skiing at the mountain and then head out to one of the other four Aspen mountains.

Buttermilk is also home to the Winter X Games, which attract athletes from around the world. These events include alpine skiing and snowboarding competitions. They have been held in Aspen since 2002.

With 44 trails and over 470 acres of skiable terrain, Buttermilk is a great place for family skiers. You can find everything from beginner ski runs to expert terrain.

Terrain park

Buttermilk Ski Resort is a family-friendly mountain that offers a great learning environment. It’s close to Aspen and Snowmass, and has a number of features for all skill levels.

Buttermilk is also known for its terrain parks. Each one features more than a dozen features. These include pipes, jumps, and other mini-features.

The park at Buttermilk is the world’s longest. There are five different areas of the mountain that feature terrain. Beginners and intermediate skiers will find features such as a 25-foot halfpipe. In addition, Buttermilk has an X Games Slopestyle course and a 22-foot Superpipe.

Buttermilk also hosts the annual Winter X Games, which attracts world-class freestyle athletes and spectators. This event has been held in Aspen/Snowmass for more than a decade.

In addition to the terrain parks, Buttermilk has 44 trails spread across 470 acres of terrain. Many of the runs are beginner-friendly and offer gentle greens, blues, and blacks.

Apres-ski scene

After a full day of skiing, apres-ski is the ideal time to wind down and unwind. Depending on where you’re skiing, it can range from the simplest (shotski) to the most impressive (Europop dance party). Whether you’re a ski bum or just an outdoor enthusiast, you’ll find plenty of options in your ski destination.

Apres-ski is as much a part of ski culture as skiing itself. In the Alps, it took off in the mid-1800s and spread across the globe. Today, it’s a universal practice. Whether you’re at an apres-ski bar or a club, there are a few dos and don’ts to follow.

Ski bars usually have loud music and liberal pours. For the apres-ski aficionados, there’s nothing like a shotski fueled with Jaeger to get your blood flowing.

Aspen is home to a variety of top-notch restaurants and nightlife. Its lively scene is consistently named in SKI Magazine’s list of the best apres-ski towns in the United States. During après-ski, you can indulge in delicious fare while listening to local DJs.

Crowds

Buttermilk Ski Resort is an intermediate ski area. It has a summit elevation of 9,900 feet. Located just a few miles from Aspen, Buttermilk is an excellent destination for beginners and intermediate skiers. The mountain offers high-quality snow and a terrain park that is suitable for all ability levels.

Buttermilk is one of four ski areas in the Aspen/Snowmass area. It is part of the Ikon Ski Pass network. This allows you to use your lift pass at all slopes that are affiliated with Ikon.

Unlike other Aspen ski resorts, Buttermilk is more family oriented. This means that it has fewer apres-ski activities, and is less vibrant than other resorts in the area. However, Buttermilk has some great terrain parks, and is a popular freestyle destination.

In addition to its mountain, Buttermilk also has an upscale lodge and high-speed lifts. This ski area is perfect for beginners, intermediates, and freestylers. You can buy a ticket or a rental through the Aspen Snowmass App. This app will give you real-time updates, lift tickets, and passholder benefits.
