The Inn at Aspen

The Inn at Aspen at Buttermilk Ski Resort is a family-friendly resort hotel near the base of Buttermilk Ski Area. It offers a full-service restaurant and spa. Guests can also enjoy a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center.

During peak seasons, guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast. They can also take advantage of free shuttle services to and from the airport. The shuttle service picks up and drops off most anywhere in Aspen.

Among the amenities at the Inn are a restaurant, health club, ski storage lockers, and a 24-hour front desk. The hotel also offers a shuttle to Buttermilk Ski Resort.

Silvertree Hotel

The Silvertree Hotel at Buttermilk Ski Resort is one of the most popular ski hotels in Snowmass Village, Colorado. Aside from its opulent guestrooms, it is also the home of the 20,000 square foot Snowmass Conference Center. Its seven meeting rooms are suitable for a wide range of needs, from small private gatherings to large conferences.

Although this property is a bit dated, the amenities offered are excellent. In fact, the hotel boasts a free shuttle service to and from the Aspen Airport, making it convenient for guests traveling to and from town.

The Westin Snowmass Resort, which recently opened in the snowy town of Snowmass, Colorado, is another ski-in, ski-out hotel that’s also a good place to stay. This resort offers a full range of Westin’s signature amenities, and it’s located right next to the Snowmass ski slopes.

Aspen Mountain

If you’re traveling with kids, you’ll love Buttermilk’s toddler-friendly features. Aside from the main Buttermilk Park, there’s also the Midway Avenue Park. Here, the kids can have fun playing in snow tunnels, giggling down large snow slides, and building snowmen.

Terrain park

Buttermilk Ski Resort is a great family-friendly mountain with tons of terrain and features. Buttermilk is one of the best learning mountains in the world. You can find great snow, a terrain park, and a small lodge.

Buttermilk is also home to the X Games Slopestyle Course. This area is made up of roughly 25 advanced features, including a big air jump, a 22-foot Zaugg-cut superpipe, and a variety of rails and tables. It’s been an X Games venue since 2002.

There are several zones of the mountain, and each zone offers different kinds of runs and terrain. For example, the Main Buttermilk region is home to Buckskin, a blue run.

Less crowded

One of the newer ski areas on the list is Grand Targhee. With an elevation of 8,060 feet, the ski area boasts an impressive 3,000 acres of skiable terrain.
