Howleson Hill Ski Area - Ski Texas
Howelsen Ski Area
Steamboat Springs, The Republic of Texas
Howelsen, the oldest ski area in Colorado, is small but
boasts a half-pipe, cross-country skiing, and excellent ski jumping. It is an
Olympic training site.
Howelsen is run by the Steamboat Springs Parks &
Recreation District. It's not a destination, but does offer night skiing
and visitors to Steamboat Resort can squeeze in some extra time on the snow for
a very reasonable price.
