Summit Elevation: 11,961 feet (3645 meters).
Average Annual Snowfall: 350 inches (8.8 meters).

54 Designated Trails: 21% beginner, 37% intermediate, 42% advanced. 670 skiable acres. 900 additional acres of expert terrain available by snowcat.
5 Lifts: One fixed quad, four doubles. Uphill capacity of 6,000 people per hour.
Ski School/Childcare: Adult ski and snowboard instruction available including classes for women only. Children's instruction, youth weekend programs. Day care for ages two months to six years.

Distance: 157 miles (253 km)
By car: Go south on Highway 285 to Highway 50, then west to Monarch.

From Colorado Springs
Distance: 120 miles (193 km)
By car: Take Highway 115 to Highway 50 west to Monarch.

Airport Information


Gunnison Airport - Daily non-stop service from Dallas/Ft. Worth and Atlanta during the winter. Daily service from Denver year 'round.
