Directions
Option 1: from Albuquerque
take Interstate 25 north to exit 234, the Tramway Road exit. Go east on Tramway
Road and follow the signs to the Sandia Peak Tram. Take the Tram to the top of
Sandia Peak.
Option 2: from Albuquerque
take Interstate 40 east to exit 175 at Tijeras/Cedar Crest. Go 6 miles north on
NM 14 to the junction of NM 536. Turn left and follow NM 536 to the ski area
parking lot. Travel time from Albuquerque is about 1 hour.

School
Our PSIA Certified ski school staff of instructors offers full
and half-day lessons for skiers and snowboarders from age 7 years and up daily.
Lessons begin at 10 am and 1 pm. Regardless of your age or ability the Sandia
Peak Ski School is geared to get you started or improve your skills to take you
to new levels of confidence.
Child Care Programs & Facilities
Cubby Bear Corner is for our youngest skiers ages 4 to 6 years. This special
skiing environment has its own specially trained instructors, surface lift and
warming hut with restrooms. On special occasions, Cubby the Ski Bear may drop by
to say hello! Day care not available.
